But to someone of my lifestyle, it's also rather poignant and...frightening. I think you know what I mean. I look fine now, but what about ten years down the line of nothing but the same routine? I sit at the computer to write and internet, I sit and read, I sit and watch movies and news, I sit and eat, I sit and pay attention in class, I sit and drive in the car. I'm pretty sure the most exercise I get is from pacing (an interesting habit I acquired from my dad). So a bunch of blobby jello people milling about in chair-cars? A little scary to me.
I got home from the movie and the car ride left me a bit nauseous. Don't ask why, I'm just *delicate* and it doesn't take much to make me ill. Despite being sick, though, I just didn't want to sit down after that. I got some water, chugged it down, still felt sick, and still refused to sit. Unfortunately that kind of nausea needs to be slept off. I finally hunkered down on the couch and napped, thinking about how glad I was that standing is not an applaudable feat for me.
Dad woke me up a while later. Still tired, I considered sleeping away the rest of the day. All it took was the thought of those chair-cars to get me up again. I'm beginning to think that's all it'll ever take for the rest of my life.
That's about all. I'm off to go do some sit-ups. I kid you not.
EDIT: Just did thirty sit-ups. First sit-ups in years and years. Stomach hurts. Think I'll take a walk.
